Leukocyte chemoattractant chemokine receptors
Drug News & Perspectives. 1999 Apr;12(3) :147-156
AbstractActivated leukocyte chemoattractant/chemokine receptors (C/CKRs) constitute a major component of the host inflammatory response through their ability to induce migration of phagocytic cells to sites of tissue injury. Our understanding of C/CKR biology has been aided by the identification of additional receptors and their ligand, the characterization of receptor-mediated signaling events and the elucidation of their role as portals of cellular entry for various pathogenic organisms, (C) 1999 Prous Science.
