Abstract
The methods use various compds., which are known to bind to 3-deoxyglucosone (3DG) or precursors, in order to reduce susceptibility to tumor formation and/or to prevent or delay onset of tumor formation induced by 3DG and its precursors. 3DG-contg. high fructose corn syrup (HFCS) is used to reduce the 3DG level below the normal level present in human plasma, which results in the redn. of tumor formation.
