Negative control elements of the cell cycle in human tumors
Current Opinion in Cell Biology. 1998 Dec;10(6) :791-797
AbstractThe retinoblastoma protein and p53 are both cell-cycle regulators and are, directly or indirectly, inactivated in the majority of human tumors. Recent studies have provided new mechanistic insights into how these proteins regulate cell growth in response to various intracellular and extracellular signals.
